COUNSELLING SERVICES

In person counselling is offered in our offices located above the library in Cold Lake north.

01

INDIVIDUALS

Most people want to talk with a therapist one to one.  We have training in several different therapy models and together we will find an approach that can work for you.

02

COUPLES & FAMILIES

No one and no issue can happen in isolation.  As a family therapist and a Social Worker, it helps to see things within a broader context.

GROUP

03

Explore solutions alongside individuals who share similar experiences guided by a Registered Social Worker.  Topics may include grief, trauma and more.

04

WORKSHOPS

Improve personal or professional skills in a safe and supportive environment with people from your community.

SERVICES

Counselling in Cold Lake practitioners offer online video counselling using a confidential, reliable and approved platform that does not require you to download anything.

You simply click on a link that will be provided to you by your practitioner before your first appointment and wait in a virtual waiting room.

In the spirit of respect and reciprocity, we acknowledge that our Counselling in Cold Lake practice is located on lands and by water in Treaty 6 Territory, the traditional and sacred homeland of the Cree, Denesuline, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux and Metis Nation.  Cold Lake continues to be a home for diverse Metis, First Nations and Inuit People who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations.  We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us.  We acknowledge that this place is impacted by the ongoing process of colonialism. We strive to understand and reframe our responsibilities to land and community as we journey towards reconciliation.
